Week 27

Dear Mom and Dad,
YES!!! I love hearing about wrestling hahaha ah man my adrenaline gets pumping as I read your emails dad haha. YEEEEHAAAWWW. Good ol' buck pride. Elder Carlson gets all the results fom the tournament from his mom and at Zone Meeting we always sit next to each other and talk about them haha.  Anyways, haha it is so good to hear from you both! I am glad to hear that Brays was able to bounce back and wrestle hard! That makes me so happy. He is a stud. And Gage as well! Let him know how proud I am of him.
That is so crazy that Zac Whooped up on Farnsworth! That is seriously so sweet. I bet they are pooping their pants in Altamont haha. Oh yeah I remember wrestling that Sheperd kid at the rumble. He was tough. Lateral Dropped him in OT!! haha that tournament was great last year. Todd cracks me up haha tell Todd that I said, 'I CAN'T SNAP HIM!!!' hahaha.
I am glad to hear that Tal did so well at her farewell. I think that she will be a great missionary! Thank you so much for the pictures. And I bet that Carla cooked an amazing meal. I always loved eating over there:) haha. I am glad that you had a good week Mom! There is actually a really good Mormon Message that I think everyone should watch. It's called Sitting on the Bench. Oh hey Mom I have checked my personal Debit card a few times and the money in there seems to be going down. I am not sure if you or anyone is taking some out. If you could just maybe find out what the deal is and let me know:)
It has truly been an amazing and inspiring week for me here. Missionary life is so legendary! Right when you begin to get a little bit used to something and start to feel comfortable, it changes. I believe that it is necessary for growth in each and every one of use. We have to be stretched a little bit!
I am so grateful to be serving here in Stockport with Elder Y.  He is a good missionary and has such a deep desire to become the missionary that the Lord would have him be and has expressed this to me. I believe with all of my heart that we are going to experience some wonderful miracles this transfer. I am certainly going to miss Elder B. He taught me so much and was such an amazing missionary. Just the Companion that I needed. Elder Y said the same thing to me the other night. That I am the companion that he needs. Elder Y is from Alberta Canada. He is the oldest of 9 kids! So crazy. He has been out for 1 more transfer then I have.
I have only been a District Leader for a few days now but I am so grateful to be entrusted to this position. I feel such a deep love and responsibility for the members of my District and  I love being able to serve them. It has helped me to more fully focus on helping others instead of thinking myself. I greatly desire to gain the Character of Christ by continuously turning outward instead of inward and I know that this is a great opportunity to do so. Having an all sisters district is a little bit different then I expected haha but it is still great.
We have been trying to focus as a district on bearing our testimonies frequently and with Spiritual power.
Bryan's baptism went really well on Saturday! There was certainly a good turn out of missionaries and members. It has been so amazing to see the change and growth in Bryan. Every time we have gone over there house gets cleaner and cleaner. He shows many of expressions of love for his wife through service. His wife used to not be very active but they are both there every Sunday now and they even brought Sister Bibby's daughter to church who is a Less- Active member as well. Both of her daughters have expressed their desire to get baptised by Grandad when they turn 8! So amazing. Bryan and Carol are also planning to go to the temple in a year from April to be sealed together. It is truly remarkable. He is a lot happier man then when I first met him hahahah.
We also had a miracle on Sunday after Bryan's confirmation. We were headed to Gospel Principles class and this man named Daniel just walks into church off the street. We went over and spoke to him. He said that he had just moved here from Germany and he was walking down the street and when he saw our building he felt like he should go inside! He came to Gospel Principles with us and the lesson was on baptism. He expressed how grateful he was and for how much he learned. We are meeting with him on Tuesday. Such a miracle!
We met with our investigator Allee this week and he actually told us that he has quit smoking and coffee and tea and has been off of them for 20 days now! We haven't even taught him fully the Word of Wisdom let alone committed him to live it. We didn't even know he was haha. We had a great lesson on the Holy Ghost and enduring and committed him to baptism and Feb 21. Hopefully that works out. He has been coming to church but still wants the spiritual experience that we speak of.
I have learned in a different way that diligence and obedience brings blessings. We might be perfectly diligent and go knock doors where we feel inspired for 2 hours straight and not teach a single person. But we show and prove our diligence and obedience to the Lord by following the Spirit and in turn he will entrust us with those of his children that we can teach. Success isn't always immediate but I know that you feel successful and the love of God as you strive to be perfectly diligent and obedient. The Lord loves hard workers! And I am so grateful that I have been taught to work hard by a countless number of people.
I just want to thank you both fro your weekly emails. It is so good to be able to be in touch with home. There are some Elders that don't hear much from there parents and it is sad. So thank you so much. I hope and pray that you both have an amazing week and feel the love of the Lord, For it overcometh all.

Love
Elder Wilcox
