Week 10

Dear Mum and Dad,
Heyyyy:) haha. Ah thank you so much for your emails! They really do pick me up after a hard week of missionary work.
I am so happy that you still think of me every once in a while!;) I think of you every single day. When I fell discouraged or like I don't want to tract anymore I think of you and the entire family and just say to myself, 'There is a family out there that is waiting for you to find them. So they can have the blessings that you have.' And I push on! I know every door that is slammed just puts us closer to the one that is going to let us in! Sometimes it gets hard to have a good attitude but attitude is seriously everything out here. If we don't have a good attitude then seriously NOTHING happens. I am just trying to forget what I want all the time and how I'm feeling all the time and develop the Character of Christ and strive to always turn outward instead of inward. He is the perfect example! The best role model we have. When I think of him and 'take his yoke upon me' I feel so much strength.
I'm glad you like the stories of our ancestors. I thought they were so good! We have some amazing people that came before us. I also found a line in the tree that goes back to 1600 BC! So crazy!
I'm glad all of the kids are doing great. Keep up the Family Home Evening Mum! The home is such an important place and we have been promised by prophets that of we hold it every week our kids will 'grow up in righteousness.'
Hopefully the hunt goes alright this year dad. Oh I am going to miss that so much! You have to send me pictures! And while we are on that note, Will you please send me a lot of pictures? I wish I would have brought more. Pictures of the family, the hunts, sports, Everything! For My Family Booklet to show people.
We did some street contacting outside of the college here one morning and it was really great! We met 2 young men that wanted a copy of the Book of Mormon so hopefully we can get a return appointment with them. We also met a young man named Zach who has gone through a lot of trials and we taught him a lesson on the spot. We felt like he should pray but he was really nervous. So I said a prayer and then he said one afterwards and it was so great! It was a very spiritual and uplifting experience.
We have been coming in contact with a lot of people that want to fight with us about religion and Jesus Christ specifically. They focus so much on the bad that happens around the world and forget to recognize the good! I found that I was sort of focusing on the bad experiences myself and that I need to start focusing on the great miracles that happen every single day instead of the hard things we have to do and the rejection that we have to face. I am so grateful to be a missionary. Whenever We are discouraged I think about how much the Savior was rejected as well as Joseph Smith and every other prophet! It gives me courage to just keep going.
We are still meeting with Sarah but it is sort of difficult. She says she wants to be baptised but we aren't sure if she is serious or if she just wants to keep meeting with us to have some friends. She has received a spiritual witness so hopefully she can act on it before she forgets it!
We have been learning a lor about the pre-earth life from President Ulrich. He is truly an inspired man. We made covenants before we came to this earth to do certain things. We were great and valiant people before we came here! We need to fulfill the things that we promised to do and do our very best! Crazy to think about.
I love and miss you all sooo much! I really hope that you all have a tremendous week. I am so grateful for you and the love that I feel.
