Week 3

Dear Mommy and Dad,
Hey guys! I miss you so much. It feels like it has been ages since I have been able to email you. I feel like I have been doing sooo much and I have only been out here for like 3 weeks haha.
Well I am in the field now!! My first area is Shrewsbury. It's in the southern part of the mission. It is seriously sooo beautiful! I wish I had a little more time to take photos of the landscape. My trainer is Elder W and he is from Indiana. He has been out for 15 months an I am his 2nd trainee. He is actually a pretty great trainer and is helping me every single day to become a better missionary. He puts a lot of emphasis on obedience which is great. He doesnt really enjoy working out though sadly haha. So I just do push ups, pull ups, and abs for like 30 minutes every morning. I can feel my muscles shrinking though and it's so sad hahah. We are in a biking area though so a pretty much get a cardio workout like all day long. The first couple of days out here were killing me! My butt was so sore cause our bikes are pretty much rubbish haha. The seat is definitely not comfy but I am getting more and more used to eat each day. And my legs are getting shredded! At the end of the every day it feels like a did a max squat and clean workout all day long haha.
Oh yeah if you guys want to send me something there has to be plenty of post on it and you send it to the mission office at this address,

England Manchester Mission
Spring Wood Suite G5
Booths Park
Knutsford
WA16 8GS

But if you are going to send me something, the easiest way to do it is get on amazon.uk.com and just buy it off of there and ship it to that address. It will be way cheaper. I also learned that Euros are worth nothing over here so I had to switch those to pounds. The Pound is the strongest currency in the world!

We live in a very humble little flat in Shrewsbury. There is a bedroom, a study room, a tiny kitchen, and a bathroom. I am actually growing very fond of the place and I feel more and more at home each day! It kind of frustrates me to not really know the layout of the city but I will figure it out!

We had a baptism this last Saturday! J. Jones. Ah it was such a great experience. I was only here to teach like 2 lessons to him so my comp had already got him headed there. He was so prepared by the Lord. He quit smoking the very first time the Elders met with him. He is 17 and he lives with his Nan. It was seriously so awesome!!! The Lord really does prepare people and I want to find all of them! I'll send you a picture. He is the bigger kid with short hair. We have had so many great experiences! The very first door that I knocked on, the lady told us we were brain washed and asked about our underwear haha. Another guy said that we do voodoo. We just try not to argue with those people and just bear our testimonies. Its amazing to see how many people are Atheist. They will invite us in but only to learn about our religion. The don't want to do anything about it. It's really frustrating. The work is hard here and I have been cherishing my study time so much. The spirit really does guide us on what we need to know and the lessons we need to teach. I just feel so anxious and I want to find, teach, and baptise everyone!! Faith is so critical. I want to strive to have the Character of Christ and always turn outward as he did. The natural man always turns inward. I am so grateful for the experiences I am having and I am loving it more and more each day!!
I am so grateful for you guys and all that you have taught me. We didn't really have any good meals so I just decided to start cooking haha and I've been eating well!
The ward here is so great. There are some very faithful members but there are also a lot of less actives so we have been visiting them a lot. We get dinner about twice a week usually on the calendar. I loved hearing their testimonies yesterday. It really strengthened me. I was able to pass the sacrament, bear my testimony, and teach Gospel Principles except it was just us and the sisters in class haha. There were about 40-50 people at church. Oh and I got to play the piano which was great! I love you guys so much. With all of my heart. And I miss you! I hope everything is going great and I hope you are ready for the fair! let me know how you are doing.
